Counselor's Corner

I am Mrs. Halbert, your counselor at Serra High School.  Sometimes real life gets in the way of everything that we have planned.  And then we notice we need a little help to get back to where we want to be.  Whenever you need someone for academic or social/emotional issues please know that you can come see me anytime.  I am in Room 10 and ready to help.

discover you have two hands,

one for helping yourself

and the other for helping others."

949-489-7216 and ask for Mrs. Halbert

Hi, my name is Shannon Halbert and I am so grateful to be a part of the Serra Staff.  I have been with CUSD since 1998 working at Newhart Middle School and  Serra High School.  I graduated at Long Beach State with a Masters Degree in Marriage Family Therapy and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential.

When I'm not at work I am spending time with my family golfing, dancing, and napping any time I get.  My goal as your counselor is to give you a safe place to express yourself and help you enjoy your high school experience.  Please stop by and say hello, I look forward to meeting you.
